Laurence Brahm, founder of Shambhala Studio Films, has produced and directed three documentaries on the life of the Lotus Born Master, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, asking whether he might be the father of quantum physics:

- Return of the Lotus Born Master: Decrypting the Dakini Code

- The Dakini Code: Lotus Born Master and the Event Horizon.

Disturbed by the current state of global chaos, he embarked on a series of science fiction films projecting the Shambhala prophecies and those of the Lotus Born Master into our current time and beyond. These films adopt fantasy and humor in raising awareness and speaking directly to the causes of our global predicaments:

Together this film series has won over thirty international film festival awards.

He has also directed and produced films on Asian martial arts, including the “Gate of Nine Dragons: Searching for Kung Fu” documentary recieving over eight international film festival awards. On special request from the Karate Association of China, he directed a documentary tracing the origins of Karate to Shaolin Kung Fu, winning at the official Olympics official film festival in Milan in 2024.

“Searching for Shangri-la” (2003) is the first cross media production in China consisting of television series, documentary film, music CD, DVD, and print media, aired at Santa Fe Film Festival;

“Shambhala Sutra” documentary-fiction movie aired at Al Jazeera Film Festival (2008);

In 2002 produced “China After WTO” (11 episodes) for CCTV9 and “Searching for Shangri-la” (Documentary Movie) filmed in Tibet.

Co-Director on China Right Now “30 Years of Opening and Reform” won Golden Mike Award from China Broadcasting and Film Association
