the most widely read English language newspapers in Asia – Brahm has contributed over
270 articles on Asian current affairs, politics, social change and in-depth analysis of the
region’s political and economic leaders. His views are frequently translated and circulated
by Chinese leaders and used as talking points for internal Party discussions. Within the
Beijing diplomatic community, Brahms columns are often quoted in diplomatic reports,
and he has served as informal advisor to numerous diplomatic missions in Beijing.
